For Immediate Release. B-Catalog Records recording artist Kaoss Planet will have its catalog available for streaming on popular service TIDAL starting in March 2026. Into the Kaoss-Verse Volume 1 will be released first and be online starting March 10th. The following 2 volumes will be expected to release on Tidal early Q2 2026.
EDM artist, Mark Mager performs on stage as Kaoss Planet commented on having his music on Tidal as being “excited.” “I love the audience at Tidal and think they’ll love live electronic improv.” Mark performs using 2 Korg Kaossilators and a mini Kaoss Pad live to create improv jamz. As Kaoss Planet, he has released three volumes of Into The Kaoss-Verse. A follow up album is expected Summer 2026.
Kaoss Planet has been described as “A high-energy, experimental electronic dance party. It blends heavy bass loops with playful, quirky melodic samples, creating a retro-futuristic atmosphere. The performance is highly interactive and improvisational, with the audience reacting warmly to the live manipulation of sounds.
3 Korg Kaossilators are used live. The Korg Kaossilators create sound through synthesis controlled by a touchpad interface. Users manipulate sound by moving their fingers across the pad in two dimensions:
- Horizontal Axis (X): This typically controls the pitch or note selection (0:52).
- Vertical Axis (Y): This usually controls timbre, filter cutoff, or other sound shaping parameters (1:08).
The device generates audio internally, allowing the performer to create complex loops, melodies, and rhythms entirely on the touchpad without needing a traditional keyboard
